Hot Girl

It’s summertime in Bed-Stuy “Do or Die” Brooklyn, and Kate is feeling down in the dumps. Not only is she tired of her raggedy, tomboy image, but she’s also missing her best friend, Felicia, who’s away for the summer. Lonely and not exactly getting along with her new foster mother, Lynn, Kate so badly wants to be out and about, twirling pretty, and partying---and maybe catching the attention of her longtime crush, Charles.

Opportunity knocks one hot summer day when fly-girl Naleejah struts her stuff straight up to Kate and takes a seat. Full of smiles, Naleejah tells Kate that she remembers her from school, but Kate can’t remember ever having such a fabulous chick trying to befriend her. Kate’s suspicion turns to trust once Naleejah gives her a much-needed makeover.

Now a brand-new Kate suddenly has the attention of her dream boy. But is Naleejah checking for him, too? Against Kate’s better judgment, she ignores the warning signs, and continues to let Naleejah lead her down a treacherous path. Soon, what seems like a fun and exciting summer ends up being a harsh reality check. Now Kate must decide how to get back on the right track . . . or is it already too late?

Like a Mask Removed, Volume 2: Erotic Tales of Supervillains

Like a Mask Removed, Volume 2: Erotic Tales of SupervillainsYou don't have to be an evil genius to figure that superheroes are hot, and not just because of the perfect bodies clad in spandex (or leather, or stylized body armor). Film adaptations of favorite superheroes remain on the rise and comic book conventions are among the best-attended gatherings in the world.

But as comic book creators and artists have been trumpeting for decades, comic books are not for kids. Although the battles of good versus evil and of archetypal iconic figures in struggle tug at our primal, childhood selves, these same primal urges lead us to exploring the erotic side of heroes--and villains. How could the stylized physiques and skin-tight costumes (think of the bodacious bosom of Wonder Woman or the Batman's codpiece) common in the milieu NOT lead to erotic thoughts and explorations?

Like a Mask Removed, volume one: Erotic Tales of Superheroes presented seven stories ranging from vibrant and lively romps reminiscent of the colorful comic book pages they are inspired by to modern experimental literary styles.

Now, in the second volume of Like A Mask Removed, you will be treated with five new, previously unpublished, original stories of the smoldering dynamics found between noble, honorable, well-meaning superheroes and their provocative nemeses. Whether courted during a peace-keeping mission, a chance meeting while off duty, an abduction, or an infiltration into head-quarters, these superheroes find that they are all too human and the temptations offered by sexy supervillains are much too powerful to resist.

The Innocent's Progress And Other Stories

The Innocent's Progress And Other StoriesIn a steampunk society where sex is ritualized and marriage is sacred, the slightest misstep can bring your world tumbling down. In this collection, Peter Tupper explores the many facets of a time that never was, and a society that is all too familiar. Rich in eroticism, and immersive in its detail, The Innocent's Progress and Other Stories is a sterling example of what steampunk can be.

In an unnamed place, in a time that never was, sex is elevated as high as ritual, and can be had for the price of a theater ticket. In The Innocent's Progress and Other Stories, Peter Tupper explores the many facets of a complicated, sensual, and, in many ways, rigidly conservative society. Here, we are given passes to a theater of fantasies; we are allowed into the labyrinthine world of steam-powered workhouses; and we are given glimpses into the minds and mettle of the kind of people who survive in such a world.

About the author: Peter Tupper's first professional fiction sale was to Circlet Press's S/M Futures anthology back in the mid-1990s. In addition to working as a journalist, he blogs about the history of BDSM at www.historyofbdsm.com, and co-founded Metro Vancouver Kink, a non-profit community organization.

Includes the stories:
The Innocent's Progress (originally published in Like A Wisp of Steam)
The Pretty Horsebreaker (originally published in Like A Corset Undone)
Delicate Work
The Slave
The Impurity
The Spirit of the Future

"Tupper's characters are a joy to read, and his writing style is wonderfully inviting.""

The Erotofluidic Age

The Erotofluidic AgeIn The Erotofluidic Age, Vinnie Tesla returns to the world of The Ontological Engine, adding two more works to his oeuvre. This new digital volume combines two short stories and a novella revolving around the same characters we met in the original story. He combines his love for the erotic with a truly comprehensive world of his own, a steampunk tale with a sense of humor to boot.

The journey begins in “The Ontological Engine,” when Daedalus Tesla, a Victorian gentleman who has dedicated his life to the pursuit of Knowledge and Science, discovers the powers hidden within ontological forces. He realizes that, by harnessing the Vital Fluids collected from aroused men and women, he can power his invention, a machine known as the Ontological Engine. But the ontological forces are uncontrollable, and Daedalus finds himself in an unexpected predicament.

In “Miss Pierce’s Position,” Daedalus continues his story, giving us a glimpse into what happened to him after the suspenseful ending of “The Ontological Engine.” Much to his chagrin, another engineer is brought in to assist him with his problem—a woman engineer. Despite his Victorian-era prejudices, he puts up with Miss Pierce’s presence in his laboratory so long as she doesn’t know the real purpose of his machine—that is, until she begins to ask questions and gain the upper hand.

“The Terminando” adds another dimension to the world Tesla has created, as we quickly realize that this time it is narrated from the perspective of Daedalus’s assistant, Victor. Victor, along with Daedalus’s “nephew,” the Geoduck Dewey, has found himself in dire straits, in another ontosphere altogether, a kind of parallel universe. It is up to him to adapt to the strange ’sphere he has found himself in, to understand the ways of the violas, and to put together a solution in time to save the world from certain ontological destruction.

About the author: Vinnie Tesla has worked (or at least drawn a paycheck) as a white-water guide, information architect, bicycle deliveryman (by, not of), porn video reviewer, and desktop publisher. His purchase, in adolescence, of a mass-market paperback of The Pearl was undoubtedly the pivotal event that turned him towards his calling as a fake Victorian pornographer. His subsequent internship at Circlet Press was just the icing on the cake. He has an intermittent blog at journal.vinnietesla.com and a bunch of free fiction online at vinnietesla.com/stories, including Victim/Victorian, the pornographic novella to which The Erotofluidic Age is a prequel. He lives in Somerville, Massachusetts with his spousalbeast.

Like a Moonrise: Erotic Tales of Shapeshifters

Like a Moonrise: Erotic Tales of ShapeshiftersLike a Moonrise is an anthology of six stories featuring original shapeshifters with a coming of age theme.

Shapeshifting is a powerful metaphor for eroticism, and in Circlet Press's new ebook, Like a Moonrise, that metaphor is made central to these erotic coming-of-age fantasies.

The stories in this anthology explain what the werefox, werepony, and others face as they discover their own changes and the urges and instincts that come with it. Circlet Press moves beyond the now-common realm of vampires and werewolves to explore the sexual lives of different were-creatures with these stories.

Contributors include Kyell Gold, winner of the Best Gay Fantasy Novel of 2009, Lambda Literary Award winner Rakelle Valencia, MeiLin Miranda, who brings us the backstory of one of the shapeshifter characters in her Scryer's Gulch web serial, along with Marie Carlson, Catt Kingsgrave, and Aoife Bright.

Masked Pleasures

Masked PleasuresThis anthology of erotic fantasy features stories inspired by the cover photo. Writers were challenged to use the photo as their muse or inspiration and to let their imagination take over from there. The result is a collection of stories at once nostalgic and looking toward the future, finished off with a dash of hope and a sprinkle of romance.

Everyone knows the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words." But what if the picture begs for more than a thousand words? This anthology features stories that were inspired by the cover photo. Writers were challenged to use the photo as their muse or inspiration and to let their imagination take over from there. The result is a collection of stories at once nostalgic and looking toward the future, finished off with a dash of hope and a sprinkle of romance.

Michael M. Jones's "Devil's Masquerade" takes us through an erotic masquerade filled with disguised nobles, following the lovers Agents Starling and Grace as they search for a rogue sex demon; Brandi Guthrie's "The Seer's Mask" lets us into the mind of Gadeah, a powerful seer tormented by the lack of meaningful love in her life; Victoria Pond's "Heir Apparent" tells of His Lady Highness, a princess forced into playing the role of a knight after both her brother and husband are killed, who discovers a long-lost loved one hidden in a tower far away; and Anya Levin's "An Unusual Legacy" explores a futuristic world in which a group of rebels creates Freedom, an invitation-only chance to temporarily experience life without the constant informative babble of the identification interface.

Through this compilation of stories, editor Jennifer Levine has once again given readers the chance to get to know an interesting variety of characters, desires, and circumstances, proving that a picture really can be worth much more than a thousand words.

Like a Corset Undone: Erotic Steampunk (The Erotic Steampunk Library)

Like a Corset Undone: Erotic Steampunk (The Erotic Steampunk Library)All the trappings of steampunk society--corsets, airships, and 'leaping technologie'--meet the simmering undertone of sexuality so well-hidden by Victorian morality in LIKE A CORSET UNDONE, Circlet Press's third volume of erotic steampunk stories. By turns kinky and romantic, the stories in Like a Corset Undone explores all the reasons to unlace, whether to rebel, or for more intimate purposes.

From the Introduction, by J. Blackmore: Revolution is a knife. The same knife is used to cut the corset's strings as is used to slit the despot's throat. When people decide that what is should not be, and that their vision is what’s to come, they plan to change things. When lovers are told that they cannot moan with the lights on, that they cannot seduce whom they wish, that they cannot fuck with joy and abandon, it’s only a matter of time until they have their way. Desire, and surrender to it, is the most revolutionary act of all.

"Bravo to Circlet Press for helping to usher in steampunk erotica for us readers eager for the new and unknown." -- Obsidian Bookshelf

Up for Grabs 2: None of the Above

Up for Grabs 2: None of the AboveAs editor Lauren P. Burka says in her introduction, "All erotica is the story of sex breaking free from biological need to become the co-conspirator of pleasure." Never is that more apparent than in the sharp-eyed, sharp-minded stories she has selected for Up For Grabs 2, the second volume of gender exploratory erotica she has brought together by asking the question "What happens to sex if we let go of every assumption we have about gender and start from scratch?"

Have you ever dreamed of being so close to the people you loved that you could share your identities, your emotions, and your pleasures? M. Christian has written a story just for you. Do you crave the touch of intersex flesh so much that you will set aside everything you believed about your own sexuality? Raven Kaldera has got you covered. What would the future be like if we had an option beyond male or female, where "it" is not an insult? Elizabeth Thorne takes us on a tour. In a harsh future where the meaning seems drained from life, will gender still matter? Ask Zachary Jernigan. What would happen if our sexualities were defined not by our gender but by specific body parts? Find out what sex is like for a "mouth" in M. Svairini's story of the same name.
